Military-Connected Students and Family Support Web Page

San Benito Schools
Sullivan Environmental Science Academy

San Benito Schools is dedicated to educating and providing all necessary support services for newly enrolled and current military-connected students.

The district has created a seamless registration process that initially identifies military-connected students while ensuring the implementation of all educational support services, including special education, migrant and bilingual education, gifted and talented services, and McKinney-Vento Homeless and Foster Care support.

As part of the educational journey for all San Benito students, graduation pathways will be established to offer College, Career, and Military Readiness, Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses, and other extended learning opportunities such as the ACE After-School Program, a variety of UIL athletic and fine arts programs, and participation experiences in clubs, organizations, and other extracurricular activities.

San Benito Schools has partnered with various community outreach services through the Family and Community Engagement (FACE) Department and the assigned campus-based Communities in Schools of Cameron County Program.

San Benito Schools ensures that all military-connected students and their families are supported and guided with the services they need to excel academically and socially.

Our district is committed to obtaining the Texas Education Agency Purple Star Designated Campus distinction for the 2025-2026 school year. This web page is a resource for military-connected students and families throughout their enrollment and time in our district.
